A heart attack occurs when the blood flow to a section of heart muscle becomes blocked. If this flow of blood is not restored quickly the section of heart muscle becomes damaged from lack of oxygen and begins to die. Heart attack is a leading killer of both men and women in the United States. There are numerous things you can do to help prevent a heart attack including eating healthy and exercising on a regular basis. So take control and work towards an overall healthy lifestyle.
